St John of God Hospital Ladies Auxiliary
The Hospital Auxiliary was originally formed when the hospital was Holy Cross and then continued when the St John of God Sisters took over in 1974. The primary functions of the Auxiliary are to be of service to both patients and staff, and to raise money to provide added benefits to the hospital community. Members work voluntarily in the Hospital Gift Shop on a rostered basis and several social functions are held throughout the year. Meetings are held at the hospital on the 4th Monday of each month at 2 pm, and new members are most welcome. For further information contact Joan Budd, Honorary Secretary, phone 5243 6233. |
